Fiona Dacre

Fiona comes from a fitness background and has been in the industry for nearly 30 years. She started her career as a nurse at the Western General Hospital and continues to work as a Community Psychiatric Nurse in Dunfermline. Fiona enjoys her job but her real passion has always been fitness since she was 14 years old and she can’t imagine life without it!

Fiona qualified in Teaching Exercise to Music in 1992 and initially loved teaching Step, Aerobics, Body Conditioning and Spinning. She describes the industry as having evolved dramatically over the last 20 years, and her introduction to teaching Stability Ball Classes gave her a passion for Pilates. She became drawn to the benefits of teaching classes that are focused on a healthy mind and body.

Since qualifying as a Pilates instructor, Fiona has gained valuable experience and has previously taught classes in Keavil House Hotel and Bannatynes. She keeps herself motivated and enthusiastic by attending fitness conventions and appropriate training events throughout the country – and sometimes further afield!
