Lisa Brown

Lisa is an archaeologist by day and a fitness instructor by evening/ very early mornings! She has been working as a field archaeologist in Scotland and Italy since 2002, and after graduating Edinburgh University in 2013 with a PhD, she has been working as an archaeologist for Historic Scotland.

Her passion for fitness began with dance at the age of 6 and she qualified as a highland dance teacher in 2007 with UKAdance.

Always passionate about her fitness, Lisa moved from dancing into Obstacle Course racing, taking part in races throughout the UK and abroad (including Europe & USA).

In 2018 Lisa decided to take her passion for fitness one step further, gaining a Level 2 qualification in Fitness Instructing from the Fitness Education Academy. Since qualifying, she has been gaining experience in teaching classes at both Inspirefit and Primal Gym. Lisa has continued to expand her professional knowledge and skills, undertaking instructor courses in everything from circuit training to TRX and this year has qualified as a Level 3 Personal Trainer.
